Sobhasaria Engineering College (SEC) was established in 1999 at Sikar, Rajasthan to impart "education with a difference" in various disciplines of engineering and Technology to meet the ever increasing need for competent technical personnel in our country and abroad.SEC has shaped the future of more than 4000 students who are currently associated with leading organizations in different parts of India. The transitions of these students have been gradual from core branches. A number of pass out students have joined institutes of national and international repute to further their academic pursuits. 

 The college is promoted by "Sobhasaria Jankalyan Trust", a non-profit charitable institution, established for the advancement of education in India. With a sprawling campus spreading over 30 acres of expanse, the harmonious environs provide the perfect setting for an unforgettable teaching-learning experience. The fully developed campus is supplemented with facilities for outdoor sports, gymnasium and indoor games. Students are regularly encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities which are wide and varied in nature.

As a Premier Technical Institute and Centre of Excellence, the college offers B. Tech. courses in: Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Bio-Technology. For the management aspirants, we offer Master of Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in I.T., H.R., Finance, Marketing, Production and Small Business Management. Recently, college has started M. Tech. Courses with specialization in Computer Science & Engineering and Digital Communications, VLSI, Renewable Energy, Power Systems. In view of the excellent track record, the college has been accredited w.e.f. October 2011 and the name of institute has been changed from Sobhasaria Engineering College to Sobhasaria Group of Institutions (SGI).

 It is a matter of great elation for the college that in 2011 we have received Two gold medals as token of excellence in the Rajasthan Technical University’s convocation ceremony from the Vice Chancellor of RTU, Kota

   Educational Qualification For Admission:

(i) The minimum academic qualification for admission through RPETEAP is a pass (with 45% in PCM & 40% IN PCM for SC/ST) in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or any other examination recognised equivalent there to by Universities in Rajasthan.

(ii) Subject combination required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.Tech.course shall be as under :

  Application Procedure:

The aspiring candidates need to apply in prescribed application form, which is available at the Institute on payment of Rs. 1000/- only in cash. Forms can also be downloaded from the Institute’s website (www.secs.ac.in) and submitted along with Rs. 1000/- only in cash or DD drawn in favour of "Sobhasaria Engineering College, Sikar" payable at Sikar.
